Infiltration Kit
Taken from storage or assembled from jury-rigged equipment and items, these sets allow the user to bypass or even usurp control of the various computer systems and security devices around.
Typical key components include:
Typical key components include:
- A lockpick set-- in original advanced kits, this function is served by an automatic lockpick device that also replaces screwdrivers in the kit.
- A pair of pliers, several screwdrivers with different heads and sizes, to open panels.
- A USB-plugged memory card reader unit modified to use electrical manipulation and digital hacking to override electronics (most devices and systems have a USB access, in plain sight or protected under a panel). Unfortunately, the method wipes and frequently ruins the cards used for the decryption and hacking data and program; fortunately, they are easily duplicated.
- A set of override cards, often in a menagerie of SD and other formats.
- A USB magnetic-strip card reader unit, a read-write unit with a keypad and connection to a controlling computer or device in the original kits. Can be used with a local security card to override devices that lack a slide-reader of their own.
- A computer or PDA to manage data and functions: the military kit came with a flip-open micro-PC.
